Biolux Research, Vancouver, Canada, will hold a number of presentations showcasing OrthoPulse® at the upcoming American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Annual Session in Orlando, Fla.
Clinicians will speak about their experience using OrthoPulse, patient results, and clinical tips for light accelerated treatment. Presentation topics include “Safely Moving Teeth Faster Combining OrthoPulse and Invisalign” and “A Paradigm Shift in Accelerated Orthodontics,” among others. Speakers include Drs Ron Redmond, Todd Dickerson, Hirohide Arimoto, Robert (Tito) Norris, Tim Shaughnessy, and Peter Brawn.
The OrthoPulse device uses low levels of light energy to stimulate the periodontium and alveolar bone surrounding the roots of the teeth and facilitate movement. The FDA-cleared device can be used with both fixed appliances and clear aligners. It consists of a one-size-fits all, soft, silicone mouth-guard that patients can use as an easy self-treatment for 10 minutes per day.
Presentations will take place at the Biolux Research booth, #2121, April 30 through May 2, 2016.
