Carestream Dental is rebranding its Care Management Platform—Sensei Cloud. This new identity is meant to allude to the guidance the platform can offer practices as they seek to strike the balance between managing patient expectations, providing exceptional care, and operating efficiently as a business. The name Sensei was chosen because the word conveys the sense of a trusted guide.
Sensei Cloud combines imaging, practice management, clinical workflows, and intuitive design into one cloud-based platform that offers anytime, anywhere access. By analyzing practice data, Carestream Dental’s software can report on KPIs and provide actionable steps that practices can take to improve patient engagement and revenues.
The platform features inherent scalability, advanced multi-tasking, and business functionality based on feedback from real practices. According to Carestream Dental, the high-level business-focused view provided by Sensei Cloud makes it ideal for practices with multiple locations or DSOs and reportedly provides industry-leading opportunities for benchmarking and multi-practice management.

The new identify also includes a new logo, moving the Care Management Portal away from the recognizable Carestream Dental “boomerang” logo. Sensei Cloud is available to existing software users in their current environments, allowing them to transition to a SaaS-based model at their own pace.
