The partnership will give Unified Smiles clients access to some Carestream Dental technology at pre-negotiated rates and access to CE credit opportunities.
Carestream Dental and Unified Smiles have partnered to offer independent practices more support, education, and guidance as they navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unified Smiles helps practices navigate business contracts and purchase agreements and works to take the guesswork out of the major investments, giving individual practices greater buying power. Through this partnership, Unified Smiles clients will have access to some of Carestream Dental’s technology at pre-negotiated rates.
“We’ve always recognized that practitioners are passionate about working with patients and changing lives, but that the business side of running a practice can sometimes get in the way of providing exceptional care,” Jeremy Thomas, general manager for the Americas, Carestream Dental, said. “That’s why we seek to partner with organizations like Unified Smiles so practices can receive the support they need to achieve their business goals and still focus on what matters most: Their patients.”
“Unified Smiles works with independent dental offices in a consultative manner to support offices to achieve customized goals and continually work to optimize their practices,” Guy Flannery, chief financial officer, Unified Smiles, said. “Carestream Dental’s partnership allows our clients access to industry-leading dental digital product lines and services, including imaging equipment, CAD/CAM systems, software and practice management solutions under the Unified Smiles umbrella.”
Carestream Dental and Unified Smiles will also offer their mutual clients CE credit opportunities. Educational resources are also available to all oral healthcare professionals through Carestream Dental’s LaunchPad platform, a free resource that provides online learning.
