Henry Schein Dental, Melville, NY, will now distributed the Solea laser from Convergent Dental Inc, Needham, Mass. Solea is a 9.3 µm CO2 all-tissue dental laser.
According to a press release from Convergent Dental, the Solea laser is the first and only CO2 laser FDA-cleared to cut hard, soft, and osseous tissue.
The Solea features a virtual push button design that allows practitioners to guide the Solea back and forth between hard, soft, and osseous tissue by adjusting the pressure on its variable speed foot pedal.
