Ormco online store customers will be able to purchase a range of products, including Damon Ultima System and Symetri Clear, as well as infection prevention products and other accessories. 

Ormco Corp announced the launch of its new online store during the 2022 Envista Summit. The e-commerce site is part of Ormco’s, and its parent company Envista’s, efforts to expand its digital footprint in the dental industry. According to Ormco, the store was created to establish a seamless, one-stop shopping experience for orthodontic offices, allowing them to streamline purchases and manage their accounts all online, with 24/7 access.

The mobile-optimized site allows orthodontic practices to purchase a comprehensive selection of Ormco products including the Damon Ultima System and Symetri Clear, as well as infection prevention products and other accessories.

Jim McGillivary, senior Vice President and president of Ormco stated, “Launching eCommerce is part of the Ormco digital transformation and represents our commitment to create an exceptional customer experience for our orthodontic practitioners. The Ormco Online Store offers a centralized location that allows them to learn, purchase the products they need, and manage their account in an efficient way, when it is convenient for them. It further demonstrates our promise to make our customers’ practices our priority.”

In an interview with Orthodontic Products, McGillivary said the site was part of meeting the customer where they are in the buying cycle. “We want to provide our customers with an all-in-one experience on the site to learn about the products, find what they need, purchase, and manage their account, 24/7 online,” he said. 

And when it comes to those orthodontic staff members charged with practice product purchasing, McGillivary added that the site empowers them to “find, purchase, and manage their orders and account all in one place, providing them the autonomy to order what they need, when they need it.” 

Among the features for existing Ormco customers will be a “My Favorites” list that allows customers to quickly find and purchase their frequently ordered products. Customers will also have the ability to reorder from their order history for a quicker transaction. 

Customers using the Ormco online store who are new to the company’s product lines will have the ability to email and/or call customer support with questions. According to McGillivary, the company is looking for additional ways to enhance the customer experience and expects to roll out additional customer support features in the future. 

The new eCommerce platform, store.ormco.com, is available to all customers in North America and will continue to expand globally throughout 2022.
