WildSmiles Inc, Omaha, Neb, announced the recipient of its Summer 2018 resident scholarship. The company awards two $1,000 scholarships annually to current residents attending accredited orthodontic residency programs.
Dr Kendrick Park, who attends the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and will graduate in June 2020, is the recipient of the Summer 2018 scholarship.
Park earned his bachelor’s in economics from the University of California, San Diego, and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry as an OKU Inductee. Currently, he is a second year orthodontics resident at UCLA.
Through the scholarship, WildSmiles, makers of DesignerBraces, asks orthodontic residents to share ideas about patient engagement and care during the orthodontic treatment experience.
