WildSmiles Inc, Omaha, Neb, announced the recipient of its Spring 2019 resident scholarship—Dr Kanchi Shah.
The company awards two $1,000 scholarships annually to current residents attending orthodontic residency programs.
Shah is completing her residency at Bronx Care Hospital and will graduate in June 2021, where she is currently a first-year resident.
According to a press release from the company, WildSmiles, which developed DesignerBraces, has a fundamental commitment to patient engagement and a personalized approach to orthodontic care, as well as supporting clinical and business success for a new generation of orthodontic providers. Through this scholarship, WildSmiles asks orthodontic residents to share ideas about patient engagement and care during the orthodontic treatment experience.
