Interceptive Class III Appliance

Myofunctional Research Inc (MRC), St Augustine, Fla, introduces the i-3^TM interceptive Class III appliance. The appliance has the following features:

• A Frankel cage for maxillary development, with an offset Class I/II incisor preset;
• high, extended "reflex" sides to discourage anterior and mandibular posture; and
• a positive tongue position elevator to raise the tongue in conjunction with the tongue tag used in MRC’s Pre-Orthodontic Trainer.

Developed from the TRAINER System and MRC’s patented dual-molding technology, the i-3 is designed for effective Class III correction.
