Benjamin G. Burris, DDS, of Jonesboro, Ark, has formed Smile for a Lifetime Inc, a foundation to provide braces at no cost to individuals who cannot afford them.
“The mission of Smile for a Lifetime Foundation is to create self-confidence, inspire hope, and change the lives of children in our community in a dramatic way,” Burris explains. “The gift of a smile can do all this for a deserving, underserved individual who, in turn, can use this gift to better themselves and our community."
The foundation will award two sets of braces and orthodontic treatments per month, so that 24 individuals each year will receive free orthodontic care.
