D4D Technologies, Dallas, recently made a donation to the American Red Cross Haiti Disaster Relief fund. Donations from D4D employees and a matching contribution from Basil Haymann, chairman and CEO, raised $15,695.78. The donation is expected to help open three hospitals; provide water and sanitation; and provide food, clothing, and shelter to survivors of the January earthquake in Haiti.
"It is important to remember how fortunate we all are and to recognize our social responsibility to help those who are less fortunate," Haymann said.
D4D continues to accept donations from its employees and partners.
