LifeNexus Inc, Broomfield, Colo, has launched the Personal Health Card, a multi-purpose electronic health card. The card features the company’s embedded iChip™, which encrypts and password-protects a patient’s personal health information stored on the card.
The Personal Health Card stores prescriptions, medical history, allergies, insurance data, emergency contacts, physician’s notes, and other key information. The iChip also allows the card to be used as a traditional payment card if the patient desires.
