MacPractice, developer  of patient education software including MacPractice DDS for dentists, introduces the MacDental Ed and Dentition and Anatomy DVDs.

The first of 15 DVDs designed for the dental reception area, MacDental Ed is a customizable, chair side communication application that features more than 400 presentations with 3D illustrations, 3D animation, and clinical examples.

It sells as a standalone product for $1,900, or $1,600 if purchased with MacPractice DDS by March 15.

The Dentition and Anatomy DVD provides dental information in animated movies that could be shown in the reception area. The narrator explains the bite, eruption sequence of the teeth, and tooth anatomy. The DVD may be used with a Mac or a DVD player. The price of $100 includes personalization with dental practices information. However, they  are available for free with the purchase of MacDental Ed or MacPractice DDS by March 15.
