The New-Conn Orthodontic Foundation will hold its 24th Biennial Seminar April 13 to 14, 2012, in White Plains, NY.
The seminar, titled “How Teeth Really Move: Emerging Trends in Biology, Biomechanics, Genetics, Pharmacology, and Physiology,” will include a number of speakers, including James Hartsfield Jr, DMD; Anne Marie Kuijpers-Jagtman, DDS; Birte Melsen, DDS;Rodrigo Viecilli, DDS; Thomas Wilcko, DDS; William Wilcko, DDS; and James Zahrowski, DMD.
Among the topics to be discussed will be pharmacological effects of tooth movement, accelerated tooth movement using alveolar decortications, and genetic factors and root resorption.
