ContacEZ, Vancouver, Wash, recently introduced its Gold Narrow Strip, a sub-gingival trimmer. The trimmer is designed to allow for easy access to trim away small, hard-to-reach overhangs. In addition, the strip is useful in cleaning out difficult to reach cement debris from the interproximal space.
The Gold Narrow Strip features a narrow, stainless steel strip that allows clinicians easier access to the sub-gingival area at the “proper angle” without damaging the patients’ soft tissues, according to the company. It also features a blank central gateway, making access to the interproximal space easy and limiting the use of abrasive surfaces. The Gold Narrow Strip also includes the patented ContacEZ autoclavable strip handle.
