Ross Orthodontic, Midlotian, Tex, offers the Sirius LED, a compact task light for the orthodontist. The Sirius LED task light can be pole- or unit-mounted. The light uses four LED bulbs to produce a natural light that doesn’t cure most adhesives and is not yellow like most task lights.
At 18 inches from the mouth, the Sirius LED light will produce a rectangular viewing pattern approximately 3.5 x 5 inches. The light has a variable brightness control from 350 candlepower (3,764 lux) up to more than 1800 candlepower (19,375 lux) at 18 inches from the working surface.
