In conjunction with Ormco Corp, Stephen Tracey, DDS, MS (pictured), is offering an in-office course, titled “Demystifying TMD and Sleep Medicine for the Orthodontist,” August 16 to 17, 2013, in Upland, Calif. The 2-day course focuses on expanding practice services.
Tracey, using live patients and hands-on experience, will teach attendees how to effectively manage TMD with easy-to-fabricate-and-adjust splints; give Botox injections; diagnose obstructive sleep apnea (OSA); deliver and manage oral sleep appliances; and learn the basics of medical insurance billing related to treatment of OSA.
