The webinar, titled “Internet Hygiene & Cybersecurity: How to Identify & Avoid Infecting Your Practice,” will provide examples of targeted attempts that could take an orthodontic practice down and will provide guidance on how to prevent falling victim.
Scheduled for April 13, 2021 from 7:00-8:00 pm EDT, the live webinar is available for 1 CE credit. While the webinar will be available on-demand after the live airing, CE credits are only available to those who attend the live event.
Presented by Amy Wood, HIPAA educator and risk mitigation specialist, the webinar will provide attendees with information on the different types of cyber threats and how to avoid them. In addition, Wood advise attendees on how to identify vulnerabilities, distinguish the difference between a legitimate email and spam, and understand safety precautions to avoid a costly mistake.
