Ortho Organizers®, Carlsbad, Calif, has launched a new educational program centered around obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
Speakers include Lou Chmura, DDS, and David Paquette, DDS, MS, MSD, who will provide orthodontists and staff with an understanding of the physiology of sleep apnea and the current diagnostic and treatment options, as well as a new orthodontic approach and its protocols. According to the company, the orthodontic approach is “intended to provide patients with immediate relief from OSA, as well as changes to the airway that may address an underlying cause.”
The course will be held October 4 and 5, 2013, in Hasbrouch Heights, NJ; November 1 and 2, 2013, in Tampa, Fla; and December 6 and 7, 2013, in Las Vegas.
