Sleep Group Solutions (SGS), Phoenix, offers more 60 dental continuing education seminars annually. To further its mission of teaching dentists how to properly screen and treat sleep apnea, SGS has formed a new lab partnership with Gergen’s Orthodontic Lab to add a hands-on oral appliance overview to the seminars.

According to an announcement from SGS, Gergen’s Orthodontic Lab specializes in fabricating orthodonticappliances such as TMJ splints, flippers, and retainers, as well as functional appliances such as the Respire, Herbsts, Bionators,and Twin Blocks. Owner David Gergen has seen a huge demand by his dental clients to incorporate the treatment of sleep apnea into their practices.“I have been training offices across the country on the use of the Sleep Herbst and the Respire appliance," he said.

The next SGS seminar with Gergen’s Orthodontic Lab will take place in and Phoenix on May 4 to 5.
