The webinar will explain how dental practices can leverage the Employee Retention Tax Credit to save on taxes.

On October 6, the Henry Schein Dental Academy is hosting a webinar that examines how dental practices can take advantage of the Employee Retention Tax Credit for year-end tax planning.

The ERTC is a small business program that allows employers to take a 70% credit up to $10,000 of an employee’s qualifying wages per quarter, the equivalent of $7,000 per quarter per employee.

Speaker Robert J. Gray, dental CPA and partner of Gray Pilgrim and Associates, will review the ERTC rules and eligibility criteria and financial guidance for leveraging the program.

Gray will walk through how to calculate what practices can expect from claiming the credit, based on the number of employees, their earnings, and the practice’s 2021 performance to date.

The webinar will examine qualified wages, the impact of other credit and relief provisions, and how to claim the credit. Gray will also address the most frequent tax planning questions as the end of the year approaches.
