The Pride Institute has recognized the i-CAT™ FLX cone beam 3D imaging system—from i-CAT, Hatfield, Pa, a brand of the KaVo Kerr Group—with its “Best of Class” Technology Award for excellence in its category, for the third year in a row. i-CAT FLX was singled out for its “comprehensive treatment tools” as well as its ability to control radiation dose and scan size.
The i-CAT FLX features low-dose radiation exposure options. In addition, users can control parameters such as resolution and modality as well as scan size and radiation dose. The system comes with the updated Tx STUDIO™ software.
“Best of Class” honorees are chosen by a panel comprised of dental technology experts who convene each year to discuss, debate, and decide which products merit recognition.
