Sirona Manufactures Its 125,000th Intraoral X-ray Unit

Sirona Dental Systems recently announced that the 125,000th Heliodent has come off the production line. The Heliodent is an intraoral x-ray unit that has been in continuous production for nearly 30 years at the Sirona factory in Bensheim Germany.

Launched 10 years ago, the Heliodent DS model currently makes up 38,000 of the total units sold. The multipulse system delivers high-quality images and reduces radiation exposure to an absolute minimum. It can be switched from film to digital imaging at the touch of a button.
