Vatech’s PaX-i Digital X-Ray Systems Receive FDA Approval

Vatech America Inc,Secaucus, NJ, has received FDA approval for its PaX-i line of digitalx-ray systems. The two-sensor “Pan + Ceph” unit combines more than 18panoramic programs, including extraoral bitewings and five cephalometricprograms.

The PaX-i line offers two types of cephalometric imaging options, theSC scanning and the OP one-shot panel versions. The unit also featuresthe Flat Panel X-ray Detector, which is used with the system’s one-shotpanel ceph imaging unit to improve image quality while shortening x-rayexposure time to 0.9 seconds.
