The company has launched new AI-driven diagnostic tools for its imaging platform, a cloud-sync solution for multi-site practices, and new orthodontic-focused integrations.

DEXIS has introduced an update to its DTX Studio platform featuring new AI-powered diagnostics, multi-site connectivity, and new partner integrations for orthodontic and restorative workflows.

AI-Powered Diagnostic and Planning Tools

The latest version, DTX Studio Clinic v4.7, uses FDA-cleared AI to identify up to 15 diagnostic insights on 2D intraoral radiographs, including eight new restorative indicators for crowns, bridges, and root canals. According to the company, full-mouth AI detection and layout are five times faster than previous versions.

Key enhancements to the platform include alveolar bone level measurement, automatic grouping of findings by tooth or arch, and STL export for jaws and teeth. The update also adds enhanced 3D panoramic and cephalometric imaging capabilities. The same AI module is now integrated with DEXIS Imaging Suite.

Cloud Sync for Multi-Location Practices

DEXIS also introduced DTX Studio Go Sync, a cloud-based solution that allows multi-location practices to synchronize patient records and imaging data across all sites. The feature is designed to provide clinicians with access to patient information from any location.

Expanded Partner Integrations for Orthodontics

The platform update includes new integrations to support specialized workflows. For orthodontics, a new integration with CephX provides AI-powered cephalometric analysis and direct case upload to streamline treatment planning. An integration with Qlone enables 3D face scanning for orthodontic and restorative workflows. The company also announced a new partnership with BeamReaders for radiology review of CBCT cases.

“Our mission is simple: to build intelligent solutions that empower clinicians to accelerate decision making, improve diagnostic confidence, and deliver care that patients can truly understand,” says Robert Befidi, president at DEXIS, in a release. “This latest evolution brings FDA-cleared AI across our ecosystem—giving dental professionals powerful visual tools and seamless connectivity to labs and partners, so they can focus on the treatment story and the patient experience.”
