Practice Visual Corp, Rolling Meadows, Ill, announced the release of the updated version of its practice management and practice acceleration platform, Visual Practice.
Visual Practice 2019 features practice management, clinical, and marketing tools for dental and orthodontic practices in one interface. The software is ideal for multi-location and multi-specialty practices. For multi-location practices, the software includes a scalable cloud architecture that can connect one to 70 offices. It includes functionality to offer different services at different locations, and in different time zones. For multi-specialty practices, the software includes native and integrated support for combined specialties from orthodontics to pediatric dentistry, periodontics, implantoloy, endodontics, oral surgery, and more.
Additional features include the ability to acquire, store, combine, view, and interact with scanned 3D models directly within the cloud-hosted Visual Practice software. Moreover, the software’s parallel processing with multi-path connectivity makes for fast DICOM storing and viewing directly from the cloud. DICOM can also be converted into a panoramic, cephalometric, or 3D STL bone model with one click.
Visual Practice 2019 also includes expanded charting. Mixed-dentition dental, orthodontics, periodontic charting with intelligent tooth, surface, and tooth selectors are standard.
From the practice management angle, the software has QwikPlan Slider integrated, providing an interactive payment plan generator. The software also allows for configurable, automatic patient survey requests with social media integration and a consolidated analysis dashboard.
