Dentsply Sirona has released an enhanced SureSmile software experience designed to simplify daily tasks and improve workflow efficiency for orthodontic practices.
New Features for Daily Workflows
The updated software introduces several features aimed at reducing administrative time and minimizing back-and-forth communication. Clinicians and staff can now view patient status and history through an enhanced overview interface. The update also allows users to upload patient photos directly from mobile devices and order treatment refinements without requiring new photos, which helps practices move cases forward more efficiently.
Lab Communication and Integration
To support practice coordination, the software includes an improved communication interface with the SureSmile Digital Lab. The enhanced SureSmile experience is integrated into Dentsply Sirona’s DS Core platform, an ecosystem that connects clinicians, staff, and the digital lab to provide consistent data access across devices. According to the company, this unified ecosystem supports clearer instructions and standardized terminology to reduce complexity in daily decision-making.
