Ormco Corp, Orange, Calif, announced a new software update for Insignia™ Advanced Smile Design. The upgrade offers orthodontists redesigned Insignia Custom TIB tube options, case scoring, and dynamic case tracking for “enhanced” treatment planning, according to the company.
Beyond the software upgrade, Ormco also announced that it is working collaboratively with 3Shape, Copenhagen, Denmark, to establish a “seamless” workflow for orthodontists using Insignia and 3Shape’s TRIOS Ortho System™.
Ormco will be showcasing the updated Insignia software interface at the AAO Annual Session in Orlando, Fla.
In addition to the custom TIB tube options, the new Insignia upgrade includes an improved tracking, designed for better treatment planning, scheduling, and overall in-office efficiency. Insignia is now able to provide estimated delivery dates and real-time schedule adjustments to provide practices with better, more accurate tracking and planning information to streamline day-to-day use.
