AMD Lasers Inc has announced the debut of the Monet+ laser curing light and new pricing with a lifetime warranty for its Acuity DXPD intraoral X-ray sensor at the 2026 Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting.
Monet+ Laser Curing Technology
The Monet+ is a laser curing light that features a 12 mm uniform hexagonal beam profile and one-second curing capability. According to the company, the system delivers consistent energy output regardless of curing distance, which addresses the intensity reduction often seen in LED curing lights at increased distances. This is intended to enable faster, deeper, and more predictable polymerization.
Acuity DXPD Sensor Pricing and Warranty
AMD also introduced new pricing for its Acuity DXPD intraoral sensor line. The sensors are now priced at $1,995 per sensor or $2,995 with a lifetime warranty. The warranty includes two complete sensor replacements during the life of the product.
The Acuity sensors use Direct X-ray Photon Detection (DXPD) technology, which offers a thinner sensor profile compared to conventional CMOS-based sensors. The sensors are available in Size 1 and Size 1.5.
