Hu-Friedy, Chicago, participated in the 8th Annual WGN Morning News “Back to School” Kids Fair on August 7. The fair is designed for Chicago-area students and their families to receive free health screenings, immunizations, safety and product updates, and free items including school supplies and snacks.
Hu-Friedy provided free diagnostic dental exams under the assistance of pediatric dentist Grace Yum, DDS, the Chicago Dental Hygiene Society, the dental program at University of Illinois at Chicago, and the Hispanic Dental Association. Donations and supplies from Darby Dental, Sonicare, and Hu-Friedy equipped the dental professionals on site to perform exams for the first 150 attendees to visit the Hu-Friedy booth.
The booth offered oral health care instructions and tips on brushing and flossing. There was also a raffle for Sonicare Kids electronic toothbrushes.
