ASI Dental, Englewood, Colo, has incorporated a tandem water disinfection system into its line of ASI Designer Carts.
The system features a tandem supply of two bottles providing two liters of water for patient procedures. Included in the system is a DentaPure water line cartridge that disinfects and treats the dental unit water to prevent the formation of biofilm in the dental tubing.
According to the company, the tandem supply increases the volume of water available but also saves costs by only requiring the use of one water line cartridge.
The tandem water disinfection system is standard in all Advanced Dental Systems modular carts.
