Hu-Friedy, Chicago, has added the Hu-Friedy Steam Sterilization Integrator to its Instrument Management System (IMS) Sterilization product line. The Steam Sterilization Integrator is a Class 5 sterilization monitor designed to react to all critical variables in the sterilization cycle: time, temperature, and presence of steam.
The integrator is used to monitor the steam sterilization process and can be placed inside each pack or load. It features a 2-inch moving front indictor that, according to the company, makes it easier to see whether or not the indicator has reached “ACCEPT” and eliminates the need to interpret a color change.
The product is lead- and latex-free, and works with gravity, pre-vacuum, and flash sterilizers.
