The Smiles for Life campaign, in which dentists offer professional teeth whitening services at a reduced price and donate 100% of the proceeds to children’s charities, has raised $25 million.

The Smiles for Life Foundation is the children’s charity organization of the Crown Council, an organization of dentists throughout North America

"Smiles for Life is a win-win situation," said Greg Anderson, director of the Crown Council and one of the founders of the Smiles for Life campaign. "Patients get a brighter smile, our member dentists get the satisfaction of contributing to their community, and best of all, children who really need our help get a reason to smile."

The Smiles for Life campaign, now in its 11th year, is conducted each year over a 4-month period by participating Crown Council members. Half of the funds raised are contributed to local charity partners in the dentist’s community; the other half of the funds are contributed to the Garth Brooks’ Teammates for Kids Foundation for use in health, education, and inner-city programs that benefit children.
