3Shape, Copenhagen, announced that its 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner is now integrated with Canada-based Panthera Sleep. Users can send their TRIOS digital impressions via the cloud directly to Panthera for the manufacture of its sleep apnea devices.
After scanning the patient with 3Shape TRIOS, the orthodontist selects Panthera from the list of integrated solution providers in the TRIOS menu. The 3Shape TRIOS digital impressions are then cloud-sent with a click to Panthera.
According to a press release from 3Shape, the digital workflow created with the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner reduces manufacturing time for the Panthera D-SAD device by 2 days.
