They are made from pure, mono-crystalline sapphire, which makes them the bracket system with the highest transparency available, according to the company. The brackets stay clear, without staining, and the slot has an ultrasmooth, heat-polished surface designed to reduce friction. The brackets are 2 mm high, with rounded corners to increase patient comfort. The brackets are compatible with all types of adhesives, and have micro-protuberances on the base to help make debonding easier.
