Ortho Organizers, Carlsbad, Calif, has introduced the Maestro Low-Profile Bracket System. The brackets feature a long axis scribe line that runs the entire length of the bracket to help with placement. Their low profile is designed to reduce occlusal interference, and contoured archwire slot edges are designed to decrease friction. According to the company, the brackets are less bulky than conventional twin brackets and have a small footprint.
