The Kaleidoscope’s iridescent, rainbow exterior is designed to brighten up the operatory. “We wanted to design a unique handpiece for any dental office that enjoys having a little color and variety,” explained Cass Campbell, StarDental senior product manager. “The Kaleidoscope may also be conducive to a pediatric environment as the colorful exterior may not be as intimidating as a sterile, stainless steel handpiece.”
Made with patented ceramic ball bearing turbines, the 430 SWL Kaleidoscope possesses all the attributes of the classic 430 SWL handpiece. The small head and high-torque design of StarDental’s 430 Series high-speed handpieces provide accessibility and visibility. The high power of the 430 Series enables fast and precise removal of tooth surface and amalgam. Its low noise level reduces the possibility of auditory damage and patient anxiety.
The electropolished, lightweight, stainless steel design provides strength and durability to withstand the high temperatures of autoclaving and chemiclaving. 430 Series handpieces may be autoclaved at 121°C or 135°C to ensure sterility. The scalloped handles of the 430 Series eliminate grooves where debris and bacteria are most often harbored.
