Hu-Friedy, a Chicago-based manufacturer of handheld dental instruments, celebrates 100 years in business serving dental professionals this year. The year-long festivities marking the occasion will begin at the Midwinter Dental Meeting in Chicago on February 22.
Founded in 1908 by Austrian immigrant Hugo Friedman, the company is now owned by the Saslow family.
“Our centennial celebration is about the trust our customers place in Hu-Friedy and its employees,” says Ron Saslow, CEO and president. “At the end of the day, our customers allow us to look ahead with a shared optimism that the Hu-Friedy community is here to make a difference.”
Attendees can visit Hu-Friedy’s newly designed exhibit booth (#1811) at the Midwinter Dental Meeting. The celebration continues at Enclave night club in downtown Chicago at 6 p.m. on February 22.
