The ADA Foundation (ADAF) invites US-based nonprofit organizations focused on improving oral health to apply for a grant through its new semi-annual invitational grant program. The application deadline is July 31, 2014.
The ADAF will consider grant applications from organizations whose projects align with the foundation’s goal of improving oral health through one of its four mission pillars: charitable assistance, access to care, research, and education.
Applications will be evaluated based on specific criteria, including clarity of the project description, reasonableness of the work plan and outcomes, the expectation of clear results and measurable outcomes, originality and creativity, as well as presentation of a comprehensive and realistic budget.
The monetary amount of each grant will depend on the number of applicants, the budget needs presented in the grant request, and the amount of funds available for the mission pillar category. The organization states that all ADAF grant awards are within the sole discretion of its board of directors.
