The new name, American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research, engages and represents multidisciplinary scientists who advance dental, oral, and craniofacial research.
The American Association for Dental Research, (AADR), announced today that they expanded their name to be the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR). According to the organization, this new name better engages and represents the multidisciplinary scientists who advance dental, oral, and craniofacial research.
“The expanded name presents the association as a professional resource, and home, for all scientists championing dental, oral, and craniofacial research,” said Jacques Nör, president, AADOCR. “We are taking a holistic approach by welcoming every dental researcher, dental school, and research institution.”
AADOCR also announced new opportunities for membership, professional development, and program growth, including special themed content at the annual meeting on broader topics in dental, oral, and craniofacial research; webinars by through-leaders throughout the year to engage with member; an ambassadors program to help local leadership connect with dental, oral, and craniofacial researchers.
