Carestream Dental named Pinkesh Garg as the Americas region managing director of imaging technology solutions.
Carestream Dental has named Pinkesh Garg as the new managing director for its imaging technology solutions business in the Americas region.
Garg, previously the general manager of the company’s APAC region, has more than 20 years of experience in the dental, medical device, and consulting industries.
In his new role, Garg is responsible for the development and execution of Carestream Dental’s imaging equipment and software commercial operation and go-to-market strategies in North and South America.
“Pinkesh has a great track record of collaborating with customers and partners and building strong teams to successfully deliver on customer and company objectives,” Lisa Ashby, chief executive officer, Carestream Dental. “This experience makes him an asset as the leader for the Americas business and I’m excited to see how we’ll continue to enhance the way we serve our customers.”
Carestream Dental has seen steady growth from its three unique product portfolios – Carestream Dental, Swissmeda, and Sensei. With Garg leading the company’s signature brand, customers will see innovations brought to market sooner and with greater efficiency, according to the company.

In addition to being the general manager for the Asia Pacific region, Garg’s other roles at Carestream Dental include serving as the cluster manager for India. He has been with the company since April 2011. Prior to Carestream Dental, he served in leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where he provided professional services for various Fortune 500 companies. He earned his MBA from the IIM Calcutta, India.
