Dentsply Sirona, Salzburg, Austria, will present its solutions for all areas of infection prevention in dental practices and clinics at the upcoming 19th World Sterilization Congress in Mexico City.
The company will showcase its Com-Fit Plush mask which protects the mouth and nose from liquid splashes, among other things, during treatment. In addition, the company’s treatment centers, which feature smooth surfaces to allow for easier disinfecting following treatment, as well as removable handles, trays, and silicone pads, which can be mechanically reprocessed, will be displayed.
Dentsply Sirona will also showcase the DAC Universal, a combination autoclave, which cleans, lubricates, and sterilizes all transmission instruments used in dental treatments. According to the company, the DAC Universal is gentle on instrument materials since no cleaning and disinfectant agents are used. Ultrasonic tips and handpieces, as well as the nozzles of multifunctional syringes and powder jet devices, can also be hygienically reprocessed with the DAC Universal.
All these products will be available at the Dentsply Sirona booths at the World Sterilization Congress which meets October 31 to November 3, 2018.
