Details Hires First VP of Practice Success

Carrianne Garrison Ford was named Details’ first vice president of practice success, having most recently worked for Smile Doctors.

Details, an ordering platform for orthodontics, announced a key hire and several promotions to support ongoing customer growth.

Carrianne Garrison Ford, most recently the procurement team lead at Smile Doctors, will serve as Details’ first vice president of practice success. In the role, Ford will be responsible for scaling ordering operations and bringing time savings to practices in the process.

“It was important to me that we find someone with clinical orthodontic experience for this role.” said Jeff Biggs, DDS, MS, Details founder and chief executive officer . “Someone who understands the day to day life of a clinical assistant tasked with ordering. Not only does Carrianne have that, but she brings the experience of scaling procurement operations to hundreds of practices.”

Prior to Smile Doctors, Ford worked as a clinical assistant at a high volume orthodontic practice, purchasing supplies on top of multiple other duties.

“When I saw this role was available at Details, I couldn’t help but apply. I have such a soft spot for helping orthodontists and ordering assistants realize ordering doesn’t have to be chaos,” said Ford. “I’ve reviewed many procurement solutions for simplifying ordering, and it’s clear to me that not only does Details have the right approach, but genuinely cares about the practices they work with.”

The ordering platform’s growth also triggered a series of organizational changes, including several promotions.

Nick Wangler is now president of Details in addition to his role as chief operating officer, managing day to day operations of the company.
Addison Wissel is now VP of strategic partnerships, cultivating new relationships with vendors, OSOs, DSOs, and sales partners.

Hailey Aycock is now VP of operations, responsible for the efficiency and completion of strategic projects across all levels of the organization.

Jeff Weitekempt is now VP of finance, responsible for overseeing supply savings initiatives for practice customers, along with ensuring the financial health of the business.
