The Patterson Foundation, St Paul, Minn, a private grant-making foundation funded primarily by current and former Patterson Companies employees, recently awarded eight grants totaling $158,350 to nonprofit organizations focused on providing dental care to disadvantaged communities across the United States.

Operation Grace MN, Roseville, Minn, received $60,000 for its mobile dental clinic, which provides care to underserved children and adults in the Twin Cities metro area. America’s Dentists Care Foundation, Wichita, Kan, received $58,000 to purchase a trailer and crates for the transport of dental equipment to Mission of Mercy (MOM) clinicians throughout the country.

Other grant recipients include AccessHealth Community Dental Clinic (Seneca, SC), Cook Children’s Health Foundation (Ft Worth, Tex), MSDA C&E Foundation (Columbia, Md), Physicians CareConnection (Columbus, Ohio), San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic (San Antonio, Tex), and University of Cincinnati Foundation (Blue Ash, Ohio).

The company awards grants every quarter. The Foundation Board will award additional grants in December.
