PepperPointe Partnerships and eAssist made the Inc. 5000 Annual List of the fastest growing private companies in America.
Inc. Magazine revealed that the PepperPointe Partnerships dental service organization and eAssist dental billing service were a part of the 2022 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in America.
eAssist was ranked 2,694 on the Inc. 5000 list, 159 out of all health services companies, 70 in the state of Utah.
PepperPointe was ranked 3,072 on the list and was ranked 173 for health services, 24 in the state of Kentucky and 4 in its hometown of Lexington.
“Pandemic, supply chain issues, social and labor unrest, inflation, war—the hurdles just kept coming. But you, you kept stride and continued to a remarkable finish,” said Scott Omelianuk, chief of Inc. Media. “The truth is, more than half a million businesses close each year, according to the Fed. Of course, closing likely never occurred to you. You were too busy making dreams out of nightmares.”
Founded by James Anderson, DMD, and Sandy Odle in 2011, eAssist uses a combination of technology and human expertise to provide outsourced insurance billing and related services and products to dental practices. Henry Schein purchased a majority stake in eAssist in 2021.
Through the eAssist platform, dental practice owners are connected with a nationwide network of skilled billing specialists who focus on preparing, submitting and following up on dental insurance claims and appeals.
eAssist’s services and solutions help dental practice owners improve and accelerate cash flow, and help free up in-house staff to focus on patient care, satisfaction, and retention.
“We’re proud to be the nation’s leading platform for dental billing services, and now offer almost complete front office support to every type and specialty of dental practice,” said Anderson. “We will continue partnering with our clients and other industry influencers to identify issues, and bring innovative, scalable solutions to market.”
PepperPointe Partnerships is a doctor-owned, doctor-controlled dental service organization. PepperPointe facilitates the formation of completely doctor-owned and doctor-led pediatric dental and orthodontic Group Practices that are supported by PepperPointe.
The organization was founded on the belief that true doctor ownership — at all levels of the organization — ensures long-term continuity of care for the patient. It aims to preserve the legacy of doctor-owned practices and while protecting the continuity of patient care for generations.
“The past few weeks have been remarkable for PepperPointe, not only due to our debut on the Inc. 5000 list but as we celebrated the expansion into our first market outside the state of Kentucky, with the addition of eight orthodontic and pediatric practices in New York,” said Greg White, DMD, PepperPointe chief executive officer and president. “This year has consisted of many firsts for us but we’re most proud of what the growth and lasting impact will have on our patients and communities.”
