AAO Teams Up with Actress Jennie Garth for Style ‘N Smile Event

Last week the AAO teamed up with actress and mom Jennie Garth, from TV’s 90210,to highlight the latest in back-to-school fashion and orthodontictreatment. Garth hosted the AAO Style ‘N Smile Fashion show in NewYork City.

"As the mother of three children—one of who has just had her bracestaken off—and an actress, I know how important a beautiful smile canbe," Garth said. "A healthy, beautiful smile, and the confidence thatgoes with it, is something that never goes out of style."

At the show, celebrity-stylist Melis Kuris styled the looks of morethan a dozen local orthodontic patients who modeled the latestaffordable teen fashion. Local AAO orthodontists were on hand to makesure each model’s smile was ready for the runway.

Garth, who served as the show’s emcee, also announced a $10,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of America.
