American Mobile Dental (AMBD) has begun servicing US Army reserve bases in Plattsburgh, NY, in collaboration with Logistics Health and The FED HEALS program. AMBD plans to continue servicing these reservists and to begin servicing some National Guard and US Navy personnel as well.

The mobile dental offices provide oral health care to patients who find it difficult or expensive to seek such services outside their neighborhoods. The offices operate primarily in underserved neighborhoods and near work centers, factories, and industrial parks. Dentists provide basic dental services including cleanings, fillings, sealants for children, and orthodontic services.
