Carestream Dental, Atlanta, introduces CS PracticeWorks Cloud, which will take its place alongside Carestream’s computer-aided design and manufacturing portfolio, CS Solutions.
The CS PracticeWorks Cloud provides a full range of tools, including scheduling, charting, and financial features accessible on any device with Internet capability. The cloud version of CS PracticeWorks also features Patient Attachments and Doctor’s Work Queue functionality, the eReminders module, and 2015 CDT codes.
The Patient Attachments and Doctor’s Work Queue enables practices to attach any kind of document to a patient record and utilize easy labeling and categorization features to make attachment searches more efficient. Users can flag a patient attachment as “requiring doctor’s review,” which moves it into the queue for the doctor to review.
Studies have shown that using appointment reminders can reduce no-shows by up to 30%. The eReminders module allows practices to connect with their patients through text messages, emails, and voicemails to send reminders automatically, with no user intervention required.
