During the Washington Leadership Conference, which took place April 3–5, 2006, Sarah Samuel, DDS, from Dallas, was selected as the ADA’s 2006-2007 congressional fellow. Samuel’s fellowship will begin this fall.
Samuel will spend a year on the staff of a member of Congress or a congressional committee. Fellows attend an orientation program on congressional and executive branch operations and a seminar series on science and public policy.
Samuel is a graduate of the Baylor College of Dentistry, in Dallas, and holds a bachelor of arts degree in biology from the University of Texas, in Austin, Tex.
