Discus Dental LLC, Culver City, Calif, has donated approximately $10,000 in oral hygiene products to Operation Gratitude, an organization that sends care packages to members of the US armed forces overseas. The company collected donations from attendees at recent tradeshows and dedicated a percentage of all show sales to this effort.
The donation included a range of BreathRx products, including mouth rinse, toothpaste, and floss. According to Operations Gratitude, oral hygiene products are some of the most requested items from service members serving overseas in arid climates that cause dry mouths and throats.
