OraMetrix, Richardson, Tex, has reduced case pricing for its SureSmile® orthodontic system.

Historically, OraMetrix has offered a tiered price scale based on anorthodontic practice’s case volume. Now, to help orthodontists who arejust beginning to use SureSmile and/or scaling SureSmile into theirpractice but have not reached significant volumes, OraMetrix has leveledthe cost equation for low-to-moderate-volume practices. At lowerSureSmile volumes, doctors can now get nearly a $200 savings per case.

SureSmile also recently released the latest version of its software,SureSmile 6.0. The software allows orthodontists to plan and visualizethe final root positions in the supporting bone.
